Google Celebrates 23rd Birthday With Animated Chocolate Cake Doodle

The popular search engine Google celebrated its 23rd birthday on September 27, 2021. The occasion was marked by an animated doodle in the tech giant’s signature style. A quick visit to the Google home page will show you the doodle, which features a chocolate cake covered in chocolate frosting and rainbow-colored sprinkles. The number “23” was mentioned on the top of the cake, and the cake candle replaces the letter “L” in Google. The cake then comes alive and removes its top layer to bow in gratitude. Google was founded on September 4, 1998; However, founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin chose to celebrate the company’s official birthday on September 27, as it was the iconic day they announced the record number of pages indexed by the company. The company is now one of the best-known search engines in the world, led by Indian-born CEO Sundar Pichai. Interestingly, Google will be offering special offers and discounts to customers in select European countries as part of their 23rd birthday celebrations.
