Knoops, the pioneering British brand that revolutionized chocolate drinks, is launching in Oxford on February 11 with a new store at 21 Turl Street.
Knoops already has a cult following in London, Sussex and Brighton and is already set to be a huge hit with locals, tourists and Oxford’s student population.
The new “store” offers a variety of chocolate drinks prepared with different percentages of chocolate, then “mixed” in-store by trained “knoopologists”.
“We are passionate about what we do and look forward to bringing something new and exciting to the vibrant Oxford community”
For the full Knoopology experience, you need to follow the four-step method suggested for the perfect chocolate drink – choose your hot or cold drink, then the percentage of chocolate (there are 20 different types to choose from, from a white sweet and creamy 28% through to Solomon Islands 100% Extra Dark), then a milk (there are six non-dairy milks available), before wrapping it up with some tasty additions.
Try it in smooth hot chocolate, iced chocolate or even a milkshake.
The Oxford Patisserie GatineauThe famous pastries will be on sale to accompany the hot chocolates.
Knoops launched in 2013, opening its first store in Rye, East Sussex, and now has four other outlets in London and one in Brighton.
Jens Knoop, international chocolatier and founder of Knoops, says: “Visiting Knoops is an experience where we connect our customers with their love of chocolate, offering a real hug in a cup. We are very passionate about what we do and look forward to bringing something new and exciting to the vibrant Oxford community.”
Jens Knoop will be at the Oxford store to meet and greet visitors from February 12-14. Plus, there’s a 15% student discount on all hot and cold beverages.
