In addition to the Halloween savings, Nestlé announced the return of its Red Pumpkin project. The pan-Canadian initiative encourages families to celebrate Halloween in the safest way possible. Nestlé has compiled tips and tricks for trick-or-treaters and anyone handing out candy to help prevent the spread of COVID.

The Red Pumpkin Project encourages trick-or-treaters to wear a red pumpkin on their costume as a sign that they are taking action to stay safe this Halloween in addition to wearing a face mask and practicing social distancing.

Anyone who hands out candy is also encouraged to display a red pumpkin on their door to let parents and traitors know that they are also taking steps to be safe this Halloween. Wearing a face mask, setting up a table to help increase the distance between them and children, and using tongs to dispense candy are listed as additional steps people can take to stay safe this year.

Even though Canada has made progress in the months since Halloween 2020, some families are again choosing to refrain from showing off.

The Red Pumpkin Project features creative ways to safely celebrate Halloween at home, including a monster movie night, scavenger hunts, and a list of creative ways to turn Nestlé chocolate treats into Halloween-themed desserts.

Aldi’s has already started selling Easter chocolate – with super cheap creamed eggs

Christmas has barely ended, but many supermarkets are already stocking their Easter eggs – with one major grocer launching their sale more than three months earlier

Easter is still more than three months away …

Easter eggs have already been spotted on UK supermarket shelves – and a grocer has already started their seasonal sale on Cadbury products.

Christmas may have just ended, but stores such as Co-op, Iceland and Sainsbury’s have been spotted with chocolate eggs on display – some as early as December.

Elsewhere, rabbits and even bundles of hot cross buns were spotted as early as Boxing Day as stores geared up for the upcoming spring celebration – despite several months to go.

And buyers were taken aback.

On Twitter, a customer wrote: “Nothing says Christmas is over like a supermarket shelf full of Easter eggs in January.”

Another stunned customer wrote: Me: “* Buy cross buns every week starting Jan 1st * Me too:” What is this? Why are there already Easter eggs in the supermarket? “

But German discounter Aldi has a head start by launching a sale on Crème Eggs this week.

The Easter Bunny arrived at the grocery store early, with Aldi lowering the price of his Cadbury custard eggs to 33 pence.

The offer, which hits stores on Saturday, will mark one of its Specialbuys and will be 17p cheaper than the 50p RRP.

But, if you’re not ready for Easter just yet, Terry’s has just released a vibrant new chocolate orange – and it looks amazing.

The mini orange chocolate ‘Exploding Candy’ are presented in a 70g bag, presented in a box next to a large Orange Chocolate Egg.

The new edition was initially spotted on Facebook, after PrettyLittleThing posted a photo of it on supermarket shelves.

The online retailer shared an image of the treat with the caption: “GAME CHANGER @ someone who would buy this ASAP.”

It is not known in which supermarket the photo was taken, arousing the curiosity of many chocolate fans.

One user commented: “I wonder where are selling them.

While another wrote: “you have to keep an eye out for these.”

Others are planning to stock up on sparkling chocolate candies for Easter, with one person saying, “I think we found our Easter eggs for this year !!”

However, we have found out that Ocado will be the primary reseller – from now on.

If that’s not your thing, Reese’s Peanut Butter Easter Egg is also available in Iceland and is already flying off the shelves.

Hot Chocolate Sale to Benefit WVU Medicine Children | VM News

MORGANTOWN – For anyone interested in a hot holiday drink on Tuesday, a fundraiser at JW Ruby Memorial Hospital will have it on the menu for a cause.

The West Virginia University Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization Club through the John Chambers College of Business and Economics is having a noon hot chocolate sale. Tuesday at the cafeteria at JW Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. The sale will benefit WVU Medicine Children’s Hospital, according to a press release from WVU.

“I expect good feedback,” said Casey Bilski, president of the CEO Club of WVU.

The sale is a winter event similar to Lemonade Day, which takes place each year in the spring or early summer. Lemonade Day helps prepare young people for entrepreneurship and running a successful business, according to its website.

This is the first year of selling hot chocolate, and it arose out of Bilski’s desire to expand the theme of Lemonade Day and involve former patients from the WVU Children’s Hospital of Medicine. who may not have had the opportunity to participate in the hotter version of the event.

“I just want to show the kids some little entrepreneurial skills,” he said. “I want to give them some motivation.

Cash and Venmo will be accepted payment methods, and the cost will likely be $ 1-2 for a cup of hot chocolate, which Bilski says will earn more than just a cup of cocoa.

“I would love [the public] to go out and support the children, ”he said. “You don’t buy hot chocolate. You buy to support these children and make them smile.
