The cannabis entrepreneurial duo who announced plans in the fall to expand their cannabis micro-enterprise into a former chocolate factory in Hopedale have sold the property where they planned to do business.
As TPKM LLC, Tim Phillips and Kevin MacConnell purchased the property at 1 Rosenfeld Dr. in August 2021. Phillips and MacConnell own a Uxbridge cannabis micro-business called Yamna, also known as Blackstone Valley Naturals. In November, MacConnell told the Hopedale board that the Rosenfeld Drive property offered a 1,000 square foot extension from Yamna’s Uxbridge location, as well as an acre of potentially undeveloped land for future growth. .

Before MacConnell and Phillips bought it, the property was home to Green Mountain Chocolate Co., a 20-year-old chocolate factory that closed in June.
On Friday, TPKM LLC sold the property to Cannapreneur Partners LLC, a Westborough-based venture capital firm that provides business development services to cannabis entrepreneurs and investors. The sale of the Hopedale site would have been for the property and did not necessarily include the sale of a business.
Neither Cannapreneur Partners nor Yamna could be reached for immediate comment on the sale.
The 16,735-square-foot property sold for $1.7 million, the same price MacConnell and Phillips paid off in August. It is valued by the City of Hopedale at $1.85 million.
